Hauppauge Fire Department

Triton completed two projects for the Hauppauge Fire District. This included additions and renovations at Substation 1 on Ledgewood Avenue in Smithtown, and Substation 2 on Terry Road in Ronkonkoma. Each station is about 3,500 sq. ft., which includes a second-story mezzanine area addition in the apparatus bay. Each station also consists of a company room with kitchen area, radio room, bathrooms, and space for two trucks. The addition to the rear of the apparatus bay allowed for more room for the firefighters to gear up safely and store equipment. A new fire sprinkler system was installed, and gas services was brought to both buildings, which was previously not available.
